On May 24, 2018, Mr. Li Guo, Deputy Commissioner of General Administration of Customs Visited HPB for Investigation
In the afternoon of May 24, a group leading by Mr. Li Guo, Deputy Commissioner of General Administration of Customs visited HPB for investigation, accompanied by Mr. Han Bin, Party Secretary of Haikou IFTZ, Mr. Liu Hua, Director of Haikou IFTZ Customs and etc. Mr. Wu Hao, Vice General Manager of HPB warmly received this group.
During the investigation, Mr. Wu made a detailed introduction on HPB’s business to Mr. Li and other group members, focused on progress of Shanghai and Haikou Integrated Customs Clearance for loose diamonds and future operation.
After
that, Mr. Wu guided the group to NGTC lab. During the tour, Mr. Li showed great
interest in every diamond test step, and highly praised test standardization of
NGTC lab.
At the end, Mr. Li Guo, Mr. Han Bin, Mr. Liu Hua, company representatives and other group members had a discussion focused on how to build free trade zone or port. During this discussion, Mr. Li gave several good suggestions on recent corporate development from the perspective of enterprise to HPB. And an innovative measure of classified regulation on storage of goods for domestic market and import or export was officially approved to be implemented. Under the background of building Hainan Island into a Free Trade Zone or Port, HPB shall seize opportunities and face difficulties to make its own contribution to the construction of free trade zone or port.
