August 4 2015, The Second Report Meeting for HPB E-commerce Platform Test
On August 4, 2015, the second report meeting for HPB E-commerce platform test was held in Haikou Integrated Free Trade Zone office building.
The test was for 19 diamond rings, sent out by Hong Kong and enter from Haikou Meilan International Airport, escorted by the Customs’ vehicles to Customs in Haikou Integrated Free Trade Zone(HIFTZ). After goods checked anf counted by them, HPB photographers were taking photos of the goods from multi angles (used for display on the e-commerce website), by providing Customs with a photo of each product(printing photo) for record.
During the test, two customers placed an order respectively through the e-commerce website to buy a diamond ring. Then, two order forms were generated automatically by computer and customers paid the price via POS machine using credit card. The Peace Base worker printed the order forms and the logistics forms, copied the payment document and then sent the three sheets and a declaration form to Customs to check. After the check and approval, the Customs showed the people present the goods.
Some problems have been found during the test, but timely solved. The test was completed successfully, thus laying a good foundation for the next large-scare online trading.
